Condo Insurance in California
Do I need condo insurance if my condo’s Association already has its own? With the number of condominiums found in the greater Los Angeles area, you can bet we get asked this a lot. At JT Insurance services, it is our goal to always look out for our client’s best interest. And, well, that means not necessarily relying on someone else’s insurance policy – including that of your condo association. After all, it may cover the outer shell of where you live, but it does not cover your personal belongings, or any injuries visitors may incur while visiting you.
So, then, what is condo insurance and what does it cover?
Condo insurance is an insurance that is purchased by the condo owner. It provides you with liability protection in case of bodily injury or property damage. Most importantly, though, it helps cover the loss of personal belongings, whether due to theft or natural disaster.
There are many basic options that you may choose from so that you won’t find your financial security in jeopardy. You never know what may happen. So, let your condo association protect what they need to – and you protect what is important to you with these options.
Building property protection. This protection covers the interior walls and fixtures of the structure.
Medical coverage for guests. If a visitor is injured while visiting your condo, this protection will help cover any resulting medical expenses.
Personal liability coverage. If someone is injured on your property – and it is your fault – this protection will help fund your legal expenses if needed.
Personal property protection. This protection covers anything within your condo unit, such as clothes, appliances, electronics, furniture, etc. that may be lost or destroyed due to theft or natural disaster.
At JT Insurance, we work hard to make sure you are insured and protected in every aspect of your life. Allow us to show you have you can stay safe in your Los Angeles condo. Our experts are waiting for your call.
